Robin Jones Clothing was founded in 1994 by Claire Kingan-Jones. Kingan-Jones celebrated 10 years in business in June 2004 by opening the first RJC boutique on Auckland’s Ponsonby Road - with this came the chance to showcase RJC’s design direction: glamour from by-gone eras, while still providing functionality and practicality for your busy lifestyle. Inspired by vintage fabrics, wallpaper and delights found rummaging through second hand shops, the emphasis for RJC is on beautifully detailed garments combining fabrics of varying weights, weaves and textures. RJC transforms old world charm into a contemporary and modern look.
